Esteban Fullana Torregossa (1975 - 2022) is a Spanish experimental physicist in the field of particle physics. He is known for his contributions to precision physics at high energies at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and future colliders, such as CLIC.

He made a significant contributions to first jet calibration in the ATLAS experiment, top quark mass measurements [1] and jet precision measurements [2].

Career

Esteban obtained his doctoral degree in 2007, working at IFIC in Valencia on the construction of the Tile Calorimeter. Later he worked as a post-doc at Argonne (Chicago), CERN, the University of Mainz. He returned to IFIC in 2015. Since then he has been active in the ATLAS experiment, in operation of the Tier2, data analysis in measurements of jet cross sections and the top quark mass. He also contributed to prospect studies of a future Higgs factory in the context of the CLIC and ILC projects. He was a chair of the External Section of the Spanish Royal Society of Physics.
